     An honor to the Sulitza Bais Hamedrash is in essence an honor to its devoted and loyal President R’ Moshe Unger נ"י, who has been shouldering all the Shul functions and activities for over two decades. With his clear שכל הישר and overflowing לב טוב, R’ Moshe is the solid backbone of our Kehilla. His steady presence by all the tefillos, including his 30 minute walk on Shabbos, definitely merits R’ Moshe to his well earned שכר הליכה.

     May הקב"ה grant them many more happy and healthy years to continue in their עבודת הקודש, and may R’ Moshe merit to lead the Sulitza Bais Hamedrash towards greeting משיח צדקינו במהרה בימינו אמן.

     To recognize the Sulitza Bais Hamedrash is to know its dedicated and gifted Gabbai, R’ Pinchos Schorr נ"י. For the past 25 years, R’ Pinchos has singlehandedly positioned our Bais Medrash as a warm and pleasant Makom Kadosh, with every person feeling honored and welcomed. As a Gabbai with an עין טוב, R’ Pinchos has the unique ability to deal with every Mispallel with love and respect, making everyone satisfied at all times ב"ה.

     The pleasant demeanor and the efficient operation of our Bais Medrash is a direct credit to the warmth and caring of R’ Pinchos.  We wish R’ Pinchos and his entire Mishpacha Gezunt & Nachas and he should be זוכה to continue serving our Bais Medrash עד ביאת גואל צדק במהרה בימינו אמן.

​IN MEMORY OF

OUR DEAR MEMBER

AND GABBAI TZEDUKA

R’ YITZCHOK BODNER ע"ה

     The annual מלוה מלכה is dedicated לעילוי נשמת the esteemed and well known R’ Yitzchok Bodner ע"ה.

R’ Yitzchok ע"ה, and his wife להבחל"ח Mrs. Breindy Bodner תחי' עמו"ש, have been staunch and loyal members of the Sulitza Kehilla for over a יובל, with exceptional devotion to the Rebbe זצ"ל and later to the Rebbe שליט"א.

​

     R’ Yitzchok ע"ה constantly sought to upgrade & enhance the Bais Medrash, being the first to fund the renovation of the downstairs Bais Medrash & the main entrance. R’ Yitzchok ע"ה devoutly served as the Gabbai Tzeduka for all the functions within our Kehilla, with he himself being a great בעל צדקה, discreetly and without any fanfare. His humble approach of מתן בסתר was a direct reflection of his greatness & his extensive warmth to כל דבר שבקדושה.

​

     R’ Yitzchok’s presence is sorely missed, however his many מעשים טובים, especially the Shabbos פרקי אבות שיעור, leaves the entire Bais Medrash with fond memories & surely serves as a זכות for his נשמה.

IN MEMORY OF

OUR CHOSHUVE

LONG TIME MISPALLEL

MR. HERBERT GRUNBERG ע"ה

     The annual מלוה מלכה is dedicated לעילוי נשמת our memorable and long-time Mispallel and dear friend Mr. Herbert Grunberg ע"ה, who brings forth nostalgic memories of the Bais Hamedrash.

​

     Mr. Grunberg ע"ה and להבחל"ח his wife Mrs. Hilda תחי' עמו"ש, joined our Bais Medrash shortly after its founding, being from the first pioneers when the Bais Medrash was located in the Rebbe זצ"ל house on Roosevelt Court, and davened with us for almost 70 years.  

​

     His loyalty to the Bais Medrash and his fellow Mispallelim were palpable. Being a person of heart, he constantly extended himself, in all ways for another Yid. He would typically buy פתיחת מוסף on the ימים נוראים, which is something you give to another, thus characterizing his selfless & giving personality. May the fond memories of his מעשים טובים and true אהבת ישראל be a זכות for his נשמה.

     We call upon our friends and members to assist in the support of our holy Mosdos by sponsoring or soliciting a Diamond, Sapphire, Chai, Crystal, שר האלף, Bronze, or Gold page ad, in recognition of our dedicated honorees, and in memory of the dedicated נשמות.
